Mountain Meadow Wool Mill is located at the foot of the Big Horn Mountains in Buffalo, Wyoming. Our area is rich in western history, from Indian wars and outlaws to cattlemen and sheepherders. Our fiber factory begins in Wyoming’s rugged mountain climate. Because it is so fine, Mountain Meadow Wool is silky soft to the touch, insulates much better, breathes far more effectively, and feels delightful next to your skin.

Each year, we procure the best fiber from the best growers in the West. We then process it at our own fiber mill where it is transformed into extraordinary roving and yarns. In addition, to our own yarns we also offer custom processing services. We use only environmentally friendly cleansers, and non-petroleum based spinning oils. Mountain Meadow Wool Mill is committed to building a company with respect for nature, ethics, and sustainability.

We have a research and development department which continues to explore new and exciting innovations in wool fiber in the mill and on the ranch to create a green, sustainable company.
